INFORMATION SHARING BY USERS There are several different categories of Your Active Link profiles. They include People, Businesses, Events, Groups/Teams, Leagues, and Free Agents. You may either sign up as a person or a business. Once your host profile is created you may create any number of Events, Groups/Teams, Leagues or Free Agent Posts. If you are invited to an Event, or follow a Business or are part of a Group/Team or League you are "Linked" to that profile. This "Link" between profiles are the basis of privacy for this website. a) People When a user registers with our website, the default setting allows the user's profile information to be viewed "By My Links". That is, the other profiles on the site which have a connection with the user. There is certain information that may be displayed during a profile search which may include the user's name, age, city, state, activities, and profile photo. A user may change the default settings by visiting the Account Settings page and updating the privacy settings. All other profile information posted to the site by the user can be viewed by a user's "Links" by default. Any information posted on another profile may be viewed not only by that profile but all the "Links" associated with that profile. b) Business When a business registers with Your Active Link the information displayed on the profile page may be viewed and searched by all users. Due to the public nature of a business, Your Active Link does not keep business profile information private except for e-mail addresses, passwords, credit card and billing information. Businesses listed on Your Active Link may be reviewed by Your Active Link's users. These reviews may not be deleted by the business. If a business believes that a review does not comply with Your Active Link's Terms of Service the business may request removal of the review. Your Active Link at its sole discretion retains the authority to modify or delete any content on its website. c) Events Events can be either public or private. A public event can be searched and viewed by any user. A private event cannot be searched but may only be viewed by a user who is Linked to the Event's host user profile. d) Groups/Teams Groups/Teams can be public or private. All public groups/teams can be searched by Your Active Links' users. Only user's who are Linked to a team may view that team's full profile information. All other users can only view basic information such as the team name, description, city, state, and the activities of that team. e) League Leagues can be public or private. All public leagues can be searched by Your Active Links' users. General profile information about a league can be viewed by all users. General league profile information includes the league name, activity, duration, location, and description. Users who are "Linked" to a league as a follower can view the schedules and standings as well as news, photos and blogs posted by the league. f) Free Agents All users may search and view a free agent's profile. A free agent profile is used to present information about yourself or your group/team in order to meet others. 4. OUR DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES We will disclose your personal information to protect or enforce our legal rights and policies, to protect or enforce the legal rights of a third party, or as we in good faith believe we are required to do so by law (such as to comply with a subpoena or court order, for example). We may contract with various third parties who help us provide, maintain, and improve the website. We may use a third party to process payments made to us, and may subcontract out production, fulfillment, analytics, reporting or other operations. We may contract with third party contractors to help us manage, monitor, and optimize our website. We may also use third party contractors to help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising, and communications. We may provide to a third party or business the age, activities and locations of Your Active Link's users. This information may be used to determine demographics and proper advertisement placement. Your Active Link will not provide to any third party uniquely identifiable information. 5. We will use cookies to track your use of Your Active Link so we can provide you with a more personalized user experience, and to facilitate your logging into the website. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY Our website and the services and products we offer and sell are intended for users 13 years of age and older. Accordingly, we will not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children that we know to be under the age of 13. In addition, we will delete any information in our database that we know originates from a child under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, you, your parent, or your legal guardian may request that we deactivate any of your personal information in our database and/or opt-out from receiving communications from us. These notifications may be news and updates from team, league or business profiles you are linked to. Your Active Link may also notify you when you have new messages. If you no longer wish to receive any promotional or other communications from us, you may opt-out by following the instructions included in each email communication, by emailing us on our contact page or by visiting the Account Settings Page. 12. CHANGES IN PRIVACY POLICY This Privacy Policy is subject to change from time to time. We will notify you by posting a message on our website that our Privacy Policy has been updated.
